CUNYAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week
Youssef Elkhouly, Baruch

Elkhouly triumphed in all six events he participated in during CUNYAC successes against Brooklyn and Lehman. He shattered the school record in the 200-meter freestyle against Lehman, completing the race with a time of 1:58.16.

 

CUNYAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Newcomer of the Week

Lucas Vasquez, Baruch

Vasquez achieved wins in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle in Friday’s victory over Lehman. Against Brooklyn on Wednesday, he contributed to the winning 200 freestyle relay and secured second place behind Elkhouly in the 50 freestyle.

CUNYAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week (Honorable Mention)

Roger Sanchez, Lehman

Sanchez claimed three individual victories in a dual competition against Brooklyn, winning the 200 IM (2:13.33), the 100 backstroke (59.07), and the 100 breaststroke (1:09.55).
