Special Olympics Kansas seeks volunteers for upcoming state swimming competitors

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Special Olympics Kansas is looking for volunteers for the upcoming state swimming competitors this weekend in Topeka.

According to a press launch from Special Olympics Kansas, the 2025 State Swimming Competition will happen on Saturday, August 2, on the Capitol Federal Natatorium at Hummer Sports Park.

The occasion kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with group check-in and warm-ups, adopted by Opening Ceremonies at 9:45 a.m. Competition occasions will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., that includes each conventional and low motor talent swimming occasions.

The occasion will convey collectively athletes from throughout Kansas to compete in a day stuffed with athleticism, inclusion, and sportsmanship, and the group is urgently calling on the neighborhood to assist make it successful.
