Weilenmann to have fun a ultimate day of enjoyable at Woodward

The Weilenmann School of Discovery needs to ask new challenges, braveness and connection as college students head into the college 12 months.

On Aug. 16, Weilenmann will host their first ever Summit Summer Send-off occasion to carry households collectively for a day of festivities at Woodward Park City. 

“We thought it would be great to have an all-encompassing community event where Weilenmann would invite the whole community, the whole county, wherever they’re from, even visitors from out of town, to come together and celebrate the end of summer,” stated Susannah Barnes, director of improvement at Weilenmann.

The occasion is themed across the environment that Woodward creates year-round for college students at Weilenmann. From after-school packages to connections with coaches, Woodward performs a daily position in scholar life at Weilenmann. “So many kids in Summit County are athletes. They understand challenge,” Barnes stated. “It’ll be fun to hear from Olympians to understand what resilience is and what balance is, and learning from your mistakes, and that these all apply to the love of learning.”

Former Weilenmann scholar and Olympic medalist in mountain biking Haley Battan, whereas unable to attend, recorded an interview with Barnes to showcase her favourite classes in sport. Tickets for the Summit Summer Send-off are $25 and embody meals, drinks, and entry to Woodward’s Indoor Action Sports Hub. Woodward All-Access Members can attend free.
