FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State swim and dive’s latest Bulldog, Mackenzie Miller Lung, is about to compete within the TYR Summer Championships in Irvine, Calif., starting Tuesday, August fifth by Friday, August eighth on the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
The meet is about in long-course meters in a prelim-final format. The top-24 swimmers will qualify into finals with the championship remaining competing within the remaining of the three heats.
Lung entered in all three breaststroke races, opening the week with the 50-meter race on Tuesday, adopted by the 200-meter breast on Wednesday and the 100-meter on the ultimate day, Friday.
The latest Bulldog involves Fresno after three seasons at BYU. In her final season as a Cougar, Lung was the nationwide runner-up within the 200 breaststroke and was additionally named the 2025 Big-12 Women’s Swimmer of the Year.
