Alistair stated: “My journey for the past 45 years has taken me all over the world and I have had the privilege of photographing so many well-known people. I look for truth in my portraits, encouraging my sitters to celebrate who they are and to be compassionate in their support for others. This sense of community allows for reflection and active participation in caring for the people that matter to us and the environment that surrounds us.

I support Greener Henley’s programmes for this very reason as their commitment to the community brings an awareness of how much can be achieved when people come together for common purposes.

All proceeds from my talk ‘A Life’s Journey Through Photography’ will benefit the wonderful work that Greener Henley does in protecting and restoring nature locally, and raising awareness of the climate and nature emergency.”
