Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College has named Jaelin Jang because the assistant ladies’s swimming coach. She will help Head Coach Cam Sylvia with all phases of the RIC ladies’s swimming program.

“I’m really excited to have Jaelin joining the program,” Sylvia mentioned. “Her experience and competitive drive are going to be a huge asset for the team. She brings a fresh perspective and is a great example of what you can accomplish with hard work and grit. Jaelin’s also making history as our first female coach. As a former LEC swimmer, she’s someone our student-athletes can relate to. Her background speaks for itself and I know she’s going to help take this program to the next level.”

I hope to make a lasting impact on their athletic careers and create meaningful experiences they can carry with them long after their time in the pool.”

Jang involves RIC after serving as an assistant coach at Seekonk High School the place she helped the boys’ and ladies’ packages seize a pair of MIAA Div. II State Championships.
