The return of a crew from the International Space Station could be seen and heard on the Central Coast Saturday morning. 

The Dragon capsule splashdown off the coast of San Diego is tentatively set for 8:33 a.m. Saturday, in line with SpaceX.

Central Coast residents might even see the area capsule streaking by the sky or hear a sonic growth associated to Dragon’s travels to the splashdown location. 

SpaceX and NASA had been concentrating on 3:05 p.m. Friday for Dragon to autonomously undock from the International Space Station and start the trek dwelling. 

After performing a collection of departure burns to maneuver away from the area station, Dragon will conduct a number of orbit-lowering maneuvers, jettison the trunk, and re-enter Earth’s environment for splashdown off the coast of California roughly 17 hours later.
