COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland returns to Ludwig Field on Sunday night for its first-ever assembly with Saint Francis. The Terps are coming off a 3-0 win over Lehigh on Thursday evening to open the 2025 marketing campaign. Sunday’s match will the second of a three-game homestand for the Terps because the month of September options 5 of its first six video games on the house pitch.

 

Terps Open Season With Win Over Lehigh

  • Ava Morales scored twice and Faith Luckey posted her first profession shutout in internet as Maryland rolled to a 3-0 win over Lehigh within the season-opener on Thursday evening at Ludwig Field. The win was the biggest margin of victory in a season-opener since 2021.
  • The two objectives for Morales tied her career-high and marked her sixth and seventh profession objectives, whereas Kelsey Smith opened the nights’ scoring together with her third profession aim. The Terps scored all three objectives within the first half.

  • Emily Lenhard, a midfielder, had a powerful 2024 freshman season, taking part in all 19 video games with 13 begins and logging 1,185 minutes. She completed with one aim, three assists, and a number of multi-shot performances. She’s now coming into her sophomore 12 months.
  • Tahirah Turnage Morales, a defender and redshirt sophomore in 2024, began all 19 matches, logging 1,612 minutes. She performed the total 90 minutes in 16 video games and took two photographs on the season.

  • Thursday, Sept. 18 | 7 PM | vs. Indiana Hoosiers

    Get able to Disco After Dark at Ludwig with glitter tattoos, a disco photograph sales space, and glow-in-the-dark gear! The first 150 college students get a free disco-themed tee. Local highschool groups can RSVP totally free admission. Enjoy stay tunes from the Maryland Pep Band and look ahead to Testudo roaming the sphere!
