Job Description

This place assists the Head Coach in recruiting, teaching and mentoring elite student-athletes for the varsity Men’s & Women’s Swim Team, and offering administrative and organizational assist for this system. Coaching and mentoring duties embrace aiding within the group and implementation of the workforce’s coaching program and practices; preparation of athletes for competitions; and attending teaching clinics and lectures as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant/Associate Coach can even take part in recruiting actions together with campus and residential visits, cellphone calls, correspondence, evaluations of methods, and many others. The particular person will undertake administrative duties to help within the group and internet hosting of competitions, and full different administrative duties as assigned by Head Coach or when in want by different coaches/operations.

The title of Assistant or Associate coach depends on stage of expertise. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree(4 years)
• 1-2 Years Previous Coaching Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years Previous Coaching Experience
• College Swimming Coaches Association Affiliation
• USA Swimming Coach Member Certification
