13 Gophers Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

MINNEAPOLIS – 13 members of the University of Minnesota ladies’s gymnastics staff had been named WCGA Scholastic All-American Award winners, the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association introduced on Monday.
 
The student-athletes that earned 2024 honors are as follows: Marisa Fisher, Leah Gonsiorowski, Marissa Jencks, Seria Johnson, Emily Koch, Jordyn Lyden, Sarah Moraw, Brooklyn Rowray, Sam Schneider, Ava Stewart, Sophie Swartzmiller and Morgan Walsh.
 
Minnesota posted a 3.55 Team GPA and Leah Gonsiorowski (Biomedical Engineering), Sarah Moraw (Human Resource Development) and Megan Steensland Business Marketing Education) tallied 4.0s.
 
To be a WCGA Scholastic All-American Award winner, student-athletes will need to have a yearly or cumulative grade-point common of three.50 or above. 2025 marks the sixth 12 months in a row that the ladies’s gymnastics staff has had no less than 13 members earn the educational award.

Overall, 1,218 student-athletes earned a 3.5 or greater GPA on a 4.0 scale, 76.8% of all reporting gymnasts, probably the most ever by complete quantity and share (since out there data in 2008).
