West and Northamptonshire Councils stated they have been engaged on the “first county-wide cultural event” to mark Northamptonshire Day on 25 October.

They stated, together with Discover Northamptonshire, they’d current the “bold” occasion at Northampton’s Market Square, the place a £12m renovation was accomplished final yr.

The day would showcase “everything that makes the county special – from local talent and rich heritage to delicious food and family-friendly fun”, they added.

The event will take place from 13:00 BST to 19:30 and will help mark a year since the regeneration of the Market Square was completed.
