Wildlife Photographer of the Year shares gorgeous shortlisted pictures

The annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competitors has shared a number of the shortlisted photos from its sixty-first version, which might be showcased in an exhibition on the Natural History Museum, London, from Friday 17 October 2025.

The exhibition will highlight 100 photos from the pure world, chosen from a record-breaking 60,636 entries and judged anonymously on their creativity, originality and technical excellence by a world panel of judges throughout wildlife pictures, filmmaking, science and conservation.

Among the newly launched photos incorporates a dramatic stand-off between a lion and a cobra by Gabriella Comi, a portrait of an inquisitive pack of Arctic wolves by Amit Eshel and awe-inspiring pictures of flamingoes, coyotes and crimson deer by among the best rising younger wildlife photographers at this time, some as younger as 9 years outdated.

The class winners and the celebrated Grand Title and Young Grand Title awards might be introduced on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at a ceremony hosted on the Natural History Museum by wildlife TV presenters and conservationists Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin.
