Another student who was flown to hospital with serious injuries was a 16-year-old from Inverleigh, police said.
Nine students were also taken by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, while further 14 students were transported to hospital for observation.
The driver of the bus, a 76-year-old Hamlyn Heights man, was also taken to hospital.
He has been interviewed by police and launched pending additional enquiries.

Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Lyneham on Wednesday described the crash site as a “very confronting scene”.

Education Minister Ben Carroll said on Wednesday night two children remained in the Royal Children’s Hospital and nine in the Geelong University Hospital.
He said every support would be offered to the school as it processed the tragedy.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
