The Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association (WATA) and State Leadership is kicking off Wisconsin’s Agricultural Tourism Fall Season September 11- November 2, 2025 by visiting and recognizing many Agricultural Tourism Destinations. 

This Fall company are invited to discover Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Destinations. Agricultural tourism gives alternatives for households to have genuine experiences crammed with studying, meals and enjoyable on the farm.  With only one.2% of the inhabitants working instantly in rising row crops, specialty crops or elevating livestock, most Americans are faraway from the individuals and actions that develop their meals, fiber and lumber. 

“Most people are two, three or even four generations removed from life on the farm,” mentioned Sheila Everhart, Executive Director, Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association. “There’s a growing hunger to get back in contact with the soil, to see farms, and to shake the hand that feeds them. Wisconsin farms are perfect places to participate in something different, fun and educational.”

Members of WATA are farms of all sizes and with a variety of actions provided all through the seasons, from petting zoos that includes farm infants within the spring, to fruit selecting and flowers all summer time, to corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and Halloween rides within the late fall, to Christmas bushes and sleigh rides within the winter.

Fall lovers of all ages are inspired to take part within the Maze Challenge sponsored by the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association.

“There are hundreds of corn mazes in Wisconsin, some of the best in the Midwest. Visitors navigating corn mazes engage all their senses, and use curiosity, problem-solving, and communication skills as they work to get out of the maze,” mentioned Sheila Everhart.

“Most importantly, this immersive experience helps teach where corn is grown and provides an opportunity to connect with Wisconsin farms in a meaningful way.”
