Reminder: Windows 10 End-Of-Life (October)

As you might know, Microsoft has announced the “End Of Life” for Windows 10, with the official finish date set for October 2025. In preparation for this transition, we should improve all present Windows 10 techniques to Windows 11. It is necessary to notice that some older gear might not help Windows 11 and can must be changed previous to this date.

Over the previous 12 months, we’ve been conducting and sending {hardware} audits throughout campus to establish machines that will must be changed attributable to compatibility points with Windows 11.

Here are some necessary upcoming dates:

• Users of Windows 10 workstations have been receiving notifications on their Windows desktop. This notification lets the consumer know if their system is both suitable with Windows 11 (and permits them to improve when they’re prepared,) or not suitable with Windows 10.
