Award-winning worldwide photographer opens small-town gallery, house decor boutique

Alycia Estwick, a self-taught photographer, at all times had a love for cameras, which has progressed over time. When her day-to-day life was closely affected by the pandemic and wildfires in California, she knew it was time for a change.

“I started driving across the country in 2021 and ended up here in South Dakota,” Estwick stated.

“I was going to go to Sioux Falls, but I was used to the mountains and country. Plus, I love the small-town feel, and I love the people here, so it was a nice fit.”

She not too long ago began exhibiting pictures all around the world in varied galleries, together with the Paris Art Expo in 2024. Right now, her work might be seen in Switzerland, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and Grenada.

In speaking together with her husband, whom she met after transferring to South Dakota, they determined it was time for her to open her personal gallery in Lennox.

In August, she held the grand opening for the Estwick Gallery at 228 N. Main St.

“It’s a great way to share my art, my creative outlet,” she stated. “My stuff is pretty unique and unlike what you’ll find in other stores around the area.”

The house features a house decor part the place Estwick sells a variety of the furnishings she refurbishes and refinishes herself along with different artwork. She additionally burns designs into bison skulls.

“It’s a very eclectic, unique shop, but it features all my different aspects of fine art from photography to mixed media and furniture,” she stated.

Estwick stated she’s passionate in regards to the business and is thrilled to share a part of her world together with her group.
