Staley School seeks pictures for Leadership Studies Building refresh

How do you view management by means of your digital camera lens?

Since 2010, the Leadership Studies Building on Kansas State University’s Manhattan campus has served as the first dwelling to the Staley School of Leadership. When we opened the doorways in 2010, it proudly showcased unique art work and pictures from people linked to Kansas. These inspiring items have been refreshed and rotated over time, reflecting the evolving spirit of our group.

As a part of our upcoming Spirit of Leadership occasion in spring 2026, we’re excited to ask college students, college, employees, alumni and buddies of Kansas State University to submit their images for consideration as soon as extra. This is an excellent alternative to contribute your distinctive perspective of what management means to you and be a part of a vibrant visible legacy that celebrates management and connection to Kansas.

Intent

To replace our distinctive artwork assortment on show on the Leadership Studies Building, with work from each newbie {and professional} photographers with Kansas ties

Through this juried course of, as much as 25 submissions can be chosen for show. The dedication of the brand new images will happen throughout our Spirit of Leadership occasion in March 2026. The present images within the constructing can be auctioned to the general public. Funds collected from auctioned items will assist Okay-State college students by means of the Staley School of Leadership Excellence Fund.

Theme

How do you view management by means of your digital camera lens?

Through an Artist Statement, you’ll have the chance to explain how your picture(s) pertains to management. We are excited to see all kinds of images creatively decoding the idea of management.

Submission Process

Submit as much as 5 images. A separate survey will have to be accomplished for every entry.

The on-line type requires:

• Contact info
• Image title
• Artist Statement
• Artist’s reference to the Staley School, Kansas State, and/or the State of Kansas
• Images should be JPG or TIF
• All entries are due by 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26

Compensation
Each photographer with a specific entry will obtain an honorarium fee of $100.00. The Staley School can pay for all printing and framing of items chosen for show. Each photographer will retain the copyright for his or her work.
