Males’s Swimming & Diving Receives AE Championship Rings

VESTAL, N.Y. – It’s changing into an annual custom for the Binghamton males’s swimming & diving program.

Prior to Saturday’s Green-White Intra-squad Meet, the Bearcat males’s staff was offered with their 2025 America East Championship rings. Binghamton gained the 2025 America East title, marking its second straight convention crown in addition to third within the final 5 years. “It’s great to have this event again,” head coach Jerry Cummiskey stated. “It’s a culmination of what we did last year and we wanted to do it now so we can shift our focus to this year. We had a great group last year and we hope to keep things going this season.”

“Every year, the ring is beautiful,” junior captain David Ponce stated. “But having been a captain last year and having seen the guys come together to win the title makes this ring extra special for me.”

Ponce was particularly grateful that final 12 months’s three graduates – Elijah Lanfear, Jake Vecchio and Sandon Karinsky all took half within the occasion.

“It’s really nice when the alums come back,” he stated. “They were a big part of my journey here and they still mean a lot to us as a team.”
