Carter Advances In All-American Qualifying Draw

CARY, N.C. – Reece Carter has superior to the Round of 32 on day three of the ITA All-American Championships at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
 
Carter opened the morning with a straight-set victory over Utah’s Emmie Moore 7-5, 6-1. She strikes on to face Georgia’s Sofia Rojas on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. PT.
 
Erika Matsuda fell in her opening match in three units to Tennessee’s Elim Yan 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. She strikes the qualifying comfort draw in opposition to Daria Smetannikov of Texas A&M at 6:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday.
 
The doubles pair of Matsuda/Carina Syrtveit battled with Twenty seventh-ranked Roisin Gilheany/Gloriana Nahum of Oklahoma however fell 6-3, 6-4. They transfer to the comfort draw at 1:00 p.m. PT in opposition to Washington State’s Eva Alvarez Sande/Maxine Murphy.
