Nancy Harrelson “Nan” Lehmann Obituary September 19, 2025

Nancy Harrelson Lehmann, 88, beloved mom, good friend, and “Nana” to most left her household for her heavenly residence on September 19, 2025. She was surrounded by love in Sanford, NC, forsaking a legacy of heat, laughter, and powerful sense of household.

Born on January 27, 1937, in Mullins, SC to JC and Louise Harrelson, Nan lived life with an vitality and spark that lit up each room she entered. Nan was by no means one to take a seat quietly on the sidelines—her wit, humor, and zest for all times made her the heartbeat of her household. She was recognized for the warmest hugs, love of shag dancing, and storytelling that stored everybody stomach laughing.

Nan lived boldly, spoke her thoughts with a wink, and had a present for making individuals chuckle – usually with a wonderfully timed joke, a witty one-liner, or simply her playful means of trying on the world. Whether she was dancing to seashore music, buzzing round Sanford on two wheels, taking part in tennis together with her girlfriends, or sneaking dessert earlier than dinner, she had a means of constructing life enjoyable. More than something, she delighted in her daughters and grandchildren, pouring her coronary heart into each second and cheering them on in every season of life.

Nan and her husband of 60 years, Jim, devoted their lives to constructing their residence. She had a particular love for cooking, and her kitchen was the center of her residence. She is preceded in dying by her mother and father, husband, and exquisite daughter, Lynne.
