Crystal Shipps – Swimming and Diving

JUNIOR SEASON (2008-09)
Consistent in-season performer who contributed out and in of the pool… gained the 200-IM (2:16.42) and claimed runner-up honors within the 100-free (56.61) at UT Permian Basin… completed fourth in 100-back (1:01.32) towards BYU… earned fifth in 100-back towards UNLV (1:02.16)… completed third and fourth within the 100- (1:01.19) and 200-back (2:14.04) at Air Force… competed within the 100- (1:01.03) and 200-back (2:10.58) on the Austin Grand Prix.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2007-08)
Horned Frog Determination Award winner…was fourth at BYU within the 100-back (1:01.31)…positioned fifth within the 100-back (1:01.46) towards Wyoming…took fourth within the 200-back (2:14.54) towards Air Force…completed ninth of 71 finishers within the 100-back (1:02.35) and T-Nineteenth out of 39 swimmers within the 50-free (26.04) on the CSU Early Bird Invite.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2006-07)
Earned first collegiate win within the 100-back (1:02.86) at Centenary… competed in 12 of the 15 meets for the Horned Frogs… member of the primary place 200-medley relay and 200-free relay groups at McMurry… medalist in three occasions… earned a powerful third-place displaying within the 100-back towards San Diego State and Centenary… competed within the 50-free and 200-back on the UNLV Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL
Smoky Hill High School[apos]s swimming MVP… earned the workforce[apos]s High-Point Award her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons.

PERSONAL
Shipps is the daughter of Robert and Lois Shipps… has an older sister, Amber (27)… a biology main.
