1st Xinjiang International Photography Contest invitations entries

The first Xinjiang International Photography Contest was launched on-line on September 28 and now invitations entries from photographers at residence and overseas. 

Entries could be both documentary or panorama images taken in Xinjiang after January 1, 2024, and needs to be submitted earlier than December 1, 2025, in accordance with the organizers of the competition.

No AI-generated photographs needs to be submitted, stated the organizers, noting that inventive photographs utilizing third-party supplies needs to be clearly indicated.

A complete of 150 photographs and picture collection will probably be shortlisted for awards, of which 80 will probably be documentary images and the remaining 70 be panorama ones. The greatest 5 photographs, three documentary ones and two panorama ones, will every win their authors a prize of fifty,000 yuan ($7,009).

Jury of the competition will probably be made by internationally famend photographers, stated the organizers. An award ceremony will probably be held and shortlisted photographs will probably be displayed within the Xinjiang Grand Theater in Changji Hui autonomous prefecture.
