Girls’s Swimming Lands Highest End at Season Opener

LEXINGTON, Va. – Bridgewater College girls’s swimming opened the season at ODAC Relays touchdown the best rating ever on the meet Saturday afternoon at W&L Natatorium. In the staff scores, Bridgewater took fourth in a area of 9 groups totaling 162 factors. 

With that end result, Bridgewater scored greater than Roanoke for the primary time because the Maroons scored 102 factors, respectively. 

The girls confronted robust groups all through the relays. The Eagles had the best scored relay end in this system within the 200-yard freestyle relay with Tess Gorby, Mia Flory, Grace Warren, and Nelle Hines for a fifth-place end. The relay staff clocked 1:45.42.

Bridgewater took an eighth-place end within the 3×100 IM relay with McKenna Curry, Annabelle Dragan, and Peyton Lawrence. 

To spherical out the day, the Eagles went seventh and eighth within the 100 Underwater Dolphin Kick relay.
