Fun for the Whole Family!: Dept. of Theatre & Dance Presents Sideways Stories from Wayside School October 16 – 19

West Chester University’s Department of Theatre & Dance invitations audiences of all ages
to expertise the zany, magical, and heartwarming world of Louis Sachar’s Sideways Stories from Wayside School, October 16–19, 2025. Adapted for the stage by John Olive and directed by Associate
Director of Theatre John Bellomo, the manufacturing brings the beloved kids’s basic
to life within the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre, Swope Music Building & Performing Arts
Center, 817 S. High Street, West Chester.

Performance occasions are Thursday, October 16 – Saturday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m., with
a Sunday matinee on October 19, at 2:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $10–$20,
with reductions accessible for college students and seniors with legitimate ID. Tickets can be found
at www.wcupatix.com/theatreanddance. An ASL interpreted efficiency shall be supplied on Saturday, October 17.

Sideways Stories from Wayside School is open to each the campus and surrounding communities

Mrs. Gorf can flip college students into apples. From mashed potatoes and mysterious ghosts
to hilarious life classes, Sideways Stories from Wayside School celebrates creativeness, curiosity, and friendship. This family-friendly manufacturing
guarantees laughter, surprises, and enjoyable for theatre-goers of all ages.

The solid of Sideways Stories from Wayside School contains Lucas Abraham (Louis), Nyla Burston (Bebe), Livy Carter (Rondi), Mason D’Albora
(Mr. Pickle), Jonah Gibson (Mr. Gorf), Lauren Keurshner (Mrs. Gorf), Brenna Lill (Miss
Valooosh), Raz Remaley (Myron), Mali Taylor (Mrs. Jewls), DJ Truxler (Dameon), Maddie
Whittman (Leslie).

The Department of Theatre and Dance at West Chester University, an accredited establishment of the National Association
of Schools of Theatre, prepares college students for the skilled and the tutorial worlds
of Theatre and Dance, whereas elevating pupil consciousness of civility, variety, creativity,
downside fixing and social accountability. The division provides a BA Theatre diploma
program with elective concentrations in Musical Theatre, Performance, and Design and
Production, along with a dance minor and theatre minor.
