ITA Regionals on Deck for Ducks

EUGENE, Ore. – The ITA Northwest Regionals are up subsequent for the Oregon girls’s tennis crew, with the annual occasion kicking off Friday at each the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkley, Calif., and the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex is Moraga, Calif.
 
All 9 Ducks will compete within the regional, with the singles finalists and doubles champions advancing to the NCAA Fall Championships. Friday will function the spherical of 64 within the doubles principal draw in addition to the primary two rounds of the singles qualifying draw.
 
Patsy Daughters, Tilde Jagare and Olivia Symons will compete within the singles principal draw that begins Saturday, whereas the remaining six athletes will compete within the singles qualifying draw starting Friday.

Four UO doubles pairs will compete in the primary draw: Hinata Furutani/Olivia Symons, Hadley Appling/Avery Jennings, Patsy Daughters/Bridget Mihulka and Tilde Jagare/Juliet Santitto.

 

The event marks the Ducks’ second of the autumn season, after UO started its fall marketing campaign final week at Duck Invitational. Appling, who went unbeaten throughout six complete matches over the weekend, took house Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Wednesday.

 

Jagare joined Appling with an ideal 3-0 singles mark on the Ducks’ house event, with Furutani, Mihulka and Santitto every earned two singles wins. In doubles, Appling and Jennings gained their solely match when paired collectively final weekend.
