Swimming & Diving Sweeps Bethany at Season Opening W&J Tri-Meet

WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College swimming & diving groups competed in a season opening tri-meet with Bethany and Division II Wheeling. Against the Bison, the W&J males gained 161-6 whereas the W&J ladies gained 148-14. Against the Cardinals, every crew dropped their contests.
 
March Yuan (Simi Valley, Calif./Oak Park) led the best way for the boys with two first place finishes. Yuan took first in each the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.22 and within the 500-yard freestyle with a mark of 5:06.41.
