Preview: Arturo Barrios Invitational – TCU Athletics

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – After a 3 week-long break, TCU cross nation is again in motion this weekend on the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday, Oct. 17, at 8:30 a.m. CT.
 
Three weeks in the past in Stillwater, Anastacia Gonzales led the Distance Frogs within the girls’s 6k with a time of 21:32.4. For the lads, Mohammad Kowa led the workforce within the males’s 8k and completed within the prime 25 with a time of 24:32.1.
 
Last time in College Station, Johnson Lagat and Mohammed Kowa each completed within the prime 5, main the lads’s facet to a third-place workforce end. For the ladies, Anastacia Gonzales led the workforce to a sixth-place end and recorded her quickest 5K time of the season. 
 

The Frogs will race of their second competitors of the season at Watts Cross Country Course. It marks the third 8k of the season for the lads, and the ladies will run their second 6k of the season. TCU will compete in opposition to 38 different groups together with Ohio State, Oklahoma, Houston and the host Texas A&M.
