COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Simon Fraser University sophomore Keira Kennedy is the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s newest girls’s swimming & diving weekly honoree for the interval Oct. 6-19, introduced Thursday.

Kennedy secured a pair of NCAA Division II B qualifying marks in Simon Fraser’s triangular with UC San Diego and  Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Oct. 18 in La Jolla, California . She posted a 17:01.34 within the 1650-yard freestyle to win the occasion and earn a B Qualifying mark. Kennedy additionally posted a season-best within the 500-yard freestyle, with a B-Qualifying mark of 4:58.48 that topped her earlier finest by 13.44 seconds, and received the occasion.
