HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 9 Marshall Men’s Soccer workforce (8-1-4, 5-1-0 SBC) delivered a dominant 4-0 clear sheet on Wednesday night time over the South Carolina Gamecocks at Hoops Family Field.
 
The shutout marked the third consecutive for The Herd as Associate Head Coach Josh Faga was appearing head coach with Chris Grassie being suspended for the match after receiving a purple card at James Madison.
 
“It was great. Chirs (Grassie) makes it easy. He gave a speech before the game with how much trust he has in the team and also the trust he has in the staff,” Faga stated. “He talked about his leadership style as he likes to empower the people around him. It didn’t feel difficult because he empowers us on taking those leadership roles. It felt kind of normal.”
 
The Herd took management within the thirty first minute when David de la Vibora broke the impasse with a solo run and slotting dwelling his third objective of the season.
