Photographer, media producer, ‘Ukraїner’ mission participant, and press officer of the thirty fifth Separate Marine Brigade Kostiantyn Huzenko has been killed in motion.
The information was introduced on Facebook by journalist and ‘Ukraїner’ founder Bohdan Lohvynenko, Ukrinform experiences.
“I met Kostia in 2020, when he joined ‘Ukraїner’ as a photographer. We traveled together most often in 2022 and 2023 — to the South, East, and North. In all the not-so-safe corners of our homeland, Kostia was never afraid to go anywhere. Later, he joined the marines himself,” Lohvynenko wrote.
According to him, Huzenko was killed on Sunday, November 2.
Lohvynenko quoted Kostiantyn’s personal phrases concerning the mission:
“For me, ‘Ukraїner’ is, above all, a community united by a great and inspiring idea, to which everyone contributes in their own way. When I film during expeditions, I know I’m in the right place. It’s even hard to call it work — there’s so much genuine collaboration in it that it’s pure joy.”
As reported earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, journalist, and ‘Ligamedia’ worker Vadym Pidlypenskyi was additionally killed in motion.
