CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – ACC packages start competitors within the 2025 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship on Thursday, November 20, with 5 first-round matches.

Nine ACC groups earned bids to the NCAA Tournament, most of any convention this 12 months.

The ACC claimed 4 of the 16 nationwide seeds: Virginia (2), SMU (5), Stanford (12) and NC State (15). These groups earned first-round byes and can play host to second-round matches on Sunday, November 23.

• The ACC has had a minimum of one workforce within the College Cup in 22 of the final 24 seasons.

• SMU gained the 2025 ACC Championship on Nov. 16, downing Virginia, 1-0, for its first ACC crown. The 7-seed, SMU matched the bottom seed to ever win the event (Syracuse, 2015).

• Virginia was the event’s No. 1 seed for the primary time since 2001. The Cavaliers gained their first regular-season crown since incomes the 2019 Coastal Division title.

• ACC groups mixed for a 73-19-24 file in non-conference play within the common season (.737 win proportion, better of any league). 

• In the NCAA’s remaining RPI report, eight ACC groups stood among the many prime 40, led by Virginia (3), SMU (4), Stanford (12) and NC State (16).
