CodeFest 2025 explores AI and tech for human-centered journey | Virginia Tech Information

Sponsored by the Pamplin College of Business in partnership with Marriott International, CodeFest is constructed on an analogous inside problem Marriott International hosted for its workers. Extending the expertise at Virginia Tech showcased the creativity and ingenuity of scholars from enterprise, pc science, and different disciplines who explored the intersection of know-how and hospitality.

Teams of as much as 5 college students collaborated on prototypes and enterprise fashions addressing hospitality and journey challenges. Guided by mentors from Marriott International, they spent the weekend turning concepts into viable options, gaining expertise in design pondering, technical improvement, and management. Each workforce introduced its work to a panel of judges, together with firm know-how leaders specializing in safety, infrastructure, and consumer expertise.

This 12 months’s profitable groups demonstrated how know-how can bridge innovation and empathy.
