The Kansas City Chiefs’ pictures crew works to share images with followers in actual time.
“We’re one of many solely groups that basically shoot completed work out of the digital camera,” said Steve Sanders, director of photography for the Chiefs.

Sanders stated he is “meticulous” on the subject of the technical aspect of pictures. For instance, he focuses on ensuring his images are color-balanced. That method, his images could be shared with followers in minutes.
“Social media is a now media,” Sanders said. “If a touchdown happens, we have that photo out of the camera and to our designers, to our social team, to our editors here within seconds, and they can have it on X or Instagram within a minute or two.”

Sanders stated he seems like he is residing a dream.
“Really, I’ve seen the entire ebb and move of the crew since 1996,” he said.
From five Super Bowls — winning three — to going to the White House to meet the president, Sanders says he’s photographed more history with the Chiefs than he expected when he began working with the team nearly 30 years ago.
He said his favorite photo from Super Bowl LIX was from behind the bench, where Hollywood Brown was sitting and Xavier Worthy was approaching.
“Xavier’s bought a towel over his head, his head is type of down,” Sanders said as he described the photo. “You can inform Hollywood is down, too, however they’re coming collectively, they’re giving a handshake. Bri Ali, a seasonal photographer for the Chiefs, photographed gamers arriving Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. She stated it is all concerning the vogue.
“You see, he bought his bag, he bought the footwear — delicate, he bought the great slacks, and no matter that claims [on his shirt], it is hearth,” Ali stated of Chiefs large receiver Nikko Remigio.

For Sanders, that is what it is all about — mentoring youthful photographers like Ali. Because 30 years in the past, he did not know he could be residing his dream.
“Go to five Super Bowls — win three — go to the White House, see the president, go to the Oval Office,” he said. “I mean, these are all things way up the list that I never thought I’d be able to do.”
