Obituary for Darrell Glen Lilly

Darrell Glen Lilly, age 67, of Bybee, handed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, surrounded by his household at his residence. He was a member of Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee. Darrell was retired from MAHLE after thirty one years of service and was an avid woodworker and a “Mr. fix it.” He liked spending time along with his household and was a pillar in his group. Darrell was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and can be dearly missed. He was preceded in demise by his mother and father, Charlie and Myrtle Lilly; and brothers, James “Jimmy” Lilly and Paul Lilly. He is survived by his spouse of thirty one years, Kim Lilly; kids, Melissa (Philip) Thompson, Brandy (Roudy) Henley, Justin (Carrie) Lilly, and Aaron (Cassy) Hayes; grandchildren, Tara Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Lilly Henley, Miles Henley, Kelsie Henley, Lucy Henley, Madison King, Caleb King, Castin Jackson, Annie Lilly, Eastyn Parker, and Jaxon Hayes; brothers, Wilson Hain and Joe (Julie) Hain; sister-in-law, Peggy Lilly; and several other nieces and nephews. The household will obtain pals from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, November twenty eighth at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral companies can be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November twenty ninth at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee with Rev. Roger Porter, Rev. John Kincaid, and Rev. Caleb Alder officiating. The physique will lie in state from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. previous to the service on the church. Interment will comply with within the Bear Creek Cemetery.
