Several Buckhannon-Upshur Camera Club members have been honored with their inclusion within the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection’s 2026 Roadsides in Bloom Calendar, which is now out there to request without cost.

The free calendar options gorgeous images of wildflowers rising naturally alongside the state’s roadways. Sponsored by the Adopt-A-Highway Program, it contains 12 profitable images chosen from dozens of submissions by gifted photographers throughout the state. Each picture captures the fantastic thing about West Virginia’s native flora as seen all through the seasons.

The photographers featured within the 2026 calendar are:

  • April: Donna Kennedy
  • May: Angie Bolen
  • June: Alan Tucker
  • July: Janna Vaught
  • August: Karl Boone

To request your free calendar, fill out this form, name 1-800-322-5530 or e mail [email protected]. Requests are restricted to 1 calendar per family, with precedence given to West Virginia residents.

The Adopt-A-Highway Program, co-sponsored by WVDEP and the West Virginia Division of Highways, is run by WVDEP’s Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan. The program works to enhance the state’s atmosphere by encouraging public involvement within the elimination of freeway litter and selling satisfaction within the Mountain State’s pure magnificence.
