CD PROJEKT co-founder Michał Kiciński acquires GOG from CD PROJEKT

Michał Kiciński, co-founder of CD PROJEKT and one in all its main shareholders, has acquired 100% of the shares in GOG, previously a part of the CD PROJEKT Group. GOG is the main DRM-free video games digital distribution platform that makes video games reside endlessly.

Michał Kiciński is buying 100% of the shares in GOG sp. z o.o. for PLN 90.7 million. Michał Kiciński’s acquisition of GOG is totally financed by dedicated funding secured at closing and doesn’t contain the sale of any of his shares in CD PROJEKT. Following the sale of GOG, CD PROJEKT and GOG signed a distribution settlement that specifies the phrases of future cooperation, together with a plan to launch CD PROJEKT RED’s upcoming video games on GOG.
