Police hunt on for accused who allegedly siphoned off mobiles, good TVs over two years

Pimpri police have charged a showroom supervisor from an electronics agency for allegedly stealing cellphones and good TVs price Rs 13 lakh from a showroom in Pimpri over the previous two years.

The case was filed after a gross sales government from the corporate’s distributor made a criticism on the Pimpri Police Station on Wednesday.

Fraud Detected During Audit

According to the police, the theft was found throughout an inside inventory audit, which confirmed vital discrepancies between the products delivered to the showroom, recorded gross sales, and the precise inventory current.

“During internal checks, it was found that the manager had unlawfully sold over 40 mobile phones and several smart TVs, totaling more than Rs 13 lakh,” a Pimpri police officer said.

Accused Absconding

The police reported that the accused left his job shortly after the fraud was revealed and has been lacking since. “Efforts are being made to locate and apprehend him,” the officer talked about.
