Men’s and Women’s swimming closes out the common season at Carson-Newman

JEFFERSON CITY, TN – The Lenoir-Rhyne swim groups competed towards Carson-Newman and Milligan University in a twin swim meet Saturday afternoon. Men’s swimming dropped each meets, 200-58 to Carson-Newman 149-109 to Milligan. On the ladies’s aspect, Milligan edged out Lenoir-Rhyne 129-127 whereas Carson-Newman accomplished the sweep with a 199-58 victory to shut out the meet.

Leading the best way for the boys was Levi McRea, who completed second in the 1000-Yard Freestyle and 500-Yard Freestyle whereas Christopher Glebus positioned second within the 200-Yard Freestyle and 100-Yard Freestyle. Both McRea and Glebus helped the Bears place third within the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of three:11.36. 

Ella Penny led the cost on the ladies’s aspect with two top-five finishes within the 200-Yard Backstroke (2nd) and 200-Yard IM (4th). Addison Bartemeyer positioned third within the 200-Yard Butterfly and 100-Yard Butterfly whereas serving to the Bears place third within the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of three:44.88.
