TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swim & dive athletes Shannon Parrau and Sam Tennell have earned Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) weekly honors after their performances in twin meets in opposition to Howard and George Washington final week. Parrau is the CAA Women’s Diver of the Week whereas Tennell is the CAA Men’s Diver of the Week.
 
Shannon Parrau receives her convention main fifth diver of the week award and the tenth of her profession. The senior scored 268.80 to high the leaderboard and win the 1 meter dive at Howard and assist lead the Tigers to a twin meet victory. Against George Washington, Parrau gained the three meter dive with a rating of 298.35 and positioned third within the 1 meter dive.
 
Sam Tennell will get his third diver of the week award of the season which leads all males’s divers within the CAA. The senior completed second within the 1 meter dive through the Tiger’s win over Howard with a rating of 293.10. Taking on George Washington, Tennell gained the 1 meter dive scoring 314.48 and positioned second within the 3 meter dive after posting a rating of 322.95.
 
Towson is again in motion on January 24th when the Tigers go to CAA rival Drexel for a twin meet scheduled for a midday begin.
