Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro swim groups return to the pool on Friday and Saturday for PSAC competitors.
The Meets
The Scots will host Gannon in a twin meet inside McComb Fieldhouse Friday at 6 p.m. The meet can be broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network. On Saturday, the Scots will make their method to California for the Penn West Duals towards Cal and Clarion. Meet time has been moved to midday because of impending winter climate. It may even be broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network.
Senior Day
The Scots will honor the senior members of the groups previous to the house meet on Friday. The seniors being honored are Brian Bell, Baila Bugara, Cara Della Toffalo, Danny Hastings, Elijah Innis, Naomi Polito and Alexis Schrecongost.
Last Time Out
The final trip for the Edinboro girls they claimed a 107.5-92.5 victory over host Shippensburg.
The quartet of Katelyn Reott, Alexis Schrecongost, Lillian Dilts and Izzy Hanek bought the Scots out to a quick begin profitable the 200-medley relay in a time of 1:49.51. In the 1,000-freestyle, Cara Della Toffalo was second in a time of 11:49.70. Edinboro claimed the highest two spots within the 200-freestyle with Navarro swimming a 2:02.22 and Hanek a 2:05.25.
Reott and Schrecongost went one-two within the 50-freestyle. Reott touched the wall in 24.33 and Schrecongost in 25.20. Eliza Miller completed first within the 200-IM with a time of two:17.26. Navarro turned in a 1:01.39 for her second first-place swim of the day within the 100-butterfly.
The 100-freestyle had Dilts ending first in 56.64 to take first. Hanek added a 56.37 to take second. Reott swam the 100-backstroke and positioned first in a time of 1:01.13. Miller picked up one other first-place swim with a 5:17.22 within the 500-freestyle. Della Toffalo added a third-place end with a time of 5:34.46.
The males dropped a 105.5-88.5 determination to the Raiders. In the 1,000-freestyle, Tyler Hill touched the wall in 10:30.96 inserting first. Andrew Ketler added a third-place swim within the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:50.42. Braden Hain swam a 22.07 to take second within the 50-freestyle.
In the 200-IM, Caleb Ludlow was third in a time of two:03.88. Ketler turned in one other first-place swim with a 52.45 within the 100-butterfly. Hain was third within the 100-backstroke ending in 54.94. Hill touched the wall in 5:04.44 to take first within the 500-freestyle. The Scots took the highest three spots within the 100-breaststroke. Ludlow was first in 1:01.30. Christian Connell was second in 1:01.47 and Hillibush third in 1:02.47.
