28 Award-Successful Pictures From Society of Photographers’ Photographer of the Year 2025

The Society of Photographers, based in 1988, has unveiled the winners of its 2025 Photographer of the Year competitors, together with three excellent prime photographs of the 12 months plus an array of wonderful class winners.

The 2025 version of the competitors attracted almost 6,000 entries throughout 28 classes, showcasing the various expertise of The Society of Photographers members.

“Demonstrating outstanding skill, narrative depth, and execution, this bold and distinctive image emerged as a clear standout and generated animated discussion among the judges,” the judging panel stated.

Alongside class winners, the judges additionally chosen prime three total photographs, with photographer Therese Asplund taking house prime honors for her picture of birds, which additionally gained the “Pet Portrait” class.

In second place total is Norwegian photographer Cecilie Stuedal for an distinctive photograph of a crimson fox snapping at a crab in mid-air. This photograph gained the “Natural World — Wild Animals” class.

Rounding out the highest three is British photographer Terry Donnelly, whose picture, seen under, took the highest prize within the competitors’s “Documentary” class.
