No. 1 Males’s Swimming and Diving reaches the rostrum within the 800 freestyle and 200 medley relays on day two of the 2026 SEC Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving accomplished day two of the SEC Championships by incomes gold within the 800 freestyle relay and silver within the 200 medley relay Tuesday night on the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

The Longhorns opened the night with a silver-medal end as Will Modglin, Nate Germonprez, Hubert Kos and Garrett Gould touched second in 1:20.85 to succeed in the rostrum.

In the ultimate occasion of the evening, Texas broke a four-year-old Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center report as Rafael Fente-Damers, Baylor Nelson, Rex Maurer and Camden Taylor earned gold with a time of 6:06.24. The earlier report was held by Florida.
