MAYOR UPDATE

In a social media post, Omaha Mayor John Ewing Jr. shared a progress update on clearing the streets.

As of 7:30 a.m. Friday, roads are 90% clear on major streets with salt spreading still in progress and clear 20% on secondary streets, according to Ewing.

TRASH PICK-UP

Wasteline, Omaha’s solid waste program, will not collect Friday due to the storm. Friday’s trash, as well as any missed Thursday, will be collected Saturday.
