The “Bridesmaids” star was on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the place she revealed she broke her finger whereas making enjoyable of her dad for breaking his personal finger.

“My dad — who is wonderful, very feisty, moves quickly — he fell and hurt himself a little bit but didn’t go to the doctor, which I’m like, ‘That’s what you want to do at 86,’” she mentioned throughout her interview. “And then all of a sudden, seven days later he’s like, ‘Does this seem okay to you?’ And I was like, ‘Your clearly broken finger?’”

But then, as she was explaining her dad’s harm to a cousin, she had her personal accident.

“I was talking to my cousin, and I was lovingly giving my dad a hard time because I’m like, ‘He’s always gotta go 100 miles an hour! He’s gotta do this! He’s gotta do that!’” she shared. “I’m doing it, I slammed my hand into the base of the table I was sitting at and fractured my finger.”

During the episode, McCarthy shared a photograph of her and her dad carrying matching finger casts on their damaged center fingers.

Her dad went for hand surgical procedure, and McCarthy joked that whereas within the physician’s workplace, “I was like ‘I’m not trying to get free medical advice, but I think I have jacked up my finger.’ And then he took an X-ray and said, ‘Yeah, you fractured it. Good job.’”
