Head Coach, Swimming – IMG Academy

The Head Swimming Coach is accountable for all elements of coaching and training student-athletes.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares a coaching program for all student-athletes.
• Assesses the talent growth of every student-athlete, and companions with faculty employees and efficiency coaches to make sure their ongoing complete growth.
• Assists with the psychological preparation of the student-athlete in each pre-game and post-game.
• Develops motivational strategy to practices and video games.
• Interacts with the student-athlete as a mentor and as an educator of the game.
• Responsible for delivering a high-quality program that aids within the annual retention of student-athletes.
• Assists within the school placement of the student-athlete.
• Supports and maintains a excessive degree of understanding of the four-year mannequin for the Academy program student-athlete.
• Effectively communicates to student-athletes and their dad and mom/guardians.
• Partners with the student-athlete’s dad or mum/guardian relating to their total growth.
• Assists sport advisors in producing new leads and sustaining an correct pipeline for enrollments.
• Assures that correct security is maintained.
• Travels to tournaments/meets and different occasions as wanted.
• Adheres to all firm insurance policies, procedures and enterprise ethic codes.
• Performs different duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in teaching and/or enjoying on the skilled and/or collegiate degree
• Bachelor’s diploma in an acceptable subject
• Proficiency in coaching and tutorial strategies
• Strong dedication to student-athletes and their growth academically, athletically, and socially
• Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication expertise
• Commitment to complete excellence

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual
• CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license with capability to drive for tournaments, video games, journey

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
