Muskegon Community College’s Overbrook Art Gallery will host a brand new exhibit titled “It’s Hip to be Square” that includes the work of native artist, photographer, and surfer Marc Hoeksema. The exhibit runs March 16 – April 24, 2026, with a gap reception on Monday, March 16 from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the general public.
Hoeksema, a West Michigan-based artist, has labored in pictures and advantageous artwork for over 20 years. His work is understood for its minimalist fashion, cautious use of sunshine and shadow, and connection to nature and water.
