Six Dragons Advance to Finals at Day One of many National Invitational Championships

OCALA, Fl. – Six members of the Drexel males’s and girls’s swimming and diving groups superior to the finals in day one of many CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Thursday, on the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training Facility. Brittany Corbett, Roko Krina, Matas Cinga, Megan Ehrnfeldt, Mark Eszes and Dimi Gkelis all certified for the finals. The males’s workforce completed day one with 72 factors and the ladies’s with 57.
 
In the lads’s 200-yard freestyle relay, Eszes, Cinga, Petar Pavalic and Declan Egger completed fifth with a time of 1:19.78. In the 50-yard backstroke, Gkelis completed sixth with a time of twenty-two.15. Competing within the 500 males’s freestyle, Cinga and Krina completed at 14^th (4:29.62) and 17^th (4:31.81), respectively. The ladies’s 200 freestyle relay noticed the workforce of Megan Ehrnfeldt, Mari Alencar, Emma Pillich, and Clare Schwartz end 18th in 1:31.15. Corbett hit the wall at 4:35.46 within the 500 ladies’s freestyle relay, ending 16^th.  In the ladies’s 50-yard butterfly, Megan Ehrnfeldt positioned eighth with a time of 24.23.
