Ladies’s Swim & Dive Concludes 2026 NCAA Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Wayne State University ladies’s swimming and diving staff concluded it is five-day keep on the 2026 NCAA Championships on Saturday evening contained in the Deaconess Aquatic Center.  The Warriors positioned thirtieth within the 35-team discipline with seven factors scored.

“Our trio did a great job,” mentioned Head Coach Sean Peters.  “I am not going to lie, I was worried that we might not score this year.  However, Elly [Belmore] found a way in the 400 IM and Alicia [Viaches] in one-meter diving.  Diana [Muccioli] was also very close to it as well, as she got her best times in both 1000 and 1650 freestyles — so we really did everything we could.  With Elly and Diana being seniors, these are big shoes to fill — both with what they brought to our team on the pool deck and their drive to be successful outside of the pool.  Man, I will miss them both along with our other seniors, but happy that they went out here at NCAA’s and performed their best.”
