Clark, 400 Medley Relay Set Program Records

ATLANTA – Indiana swimming and diving stays in seventh place after reaching the rostrum twice on Friday (March 20), day three of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships contained in the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
 
Freshman Liberty Clark kicked off the evening with a sixth-place end within the 50-yard freestyle, bettering her program and 17-18 National Age Group file with a 21.25.
 
Clark closed Indiana’s 400-yard medley relay with the quickest anchor cut up within the area, a forty five.67. That cut up ranks tied for eleventh all-time. IU completed seventh with a program file 3:25.17 – Ninety-eight hundredths higher than its seed time. Junior Miranda Grana kickstarted the relay with a 50.20, adopted by sophomore Jonette Laegreid’s 59.62. Freshman Alex Shackell contributed the third-quickest fly cut up in 49.68 earlier than giving option to Clark.
 
Indiana has set program information in three of its 4 relays.
