Cal Poly Sixth after Two Rounds of Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational

NAPA – Freshman Rafael Bobo-Lloret (above) leads the Cal Poly males’s golf program in 18th place following Monday’s opening two rounds of Central Michigan’s Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational whereas the Mustangs – as a crew – reside in sixth within the 14-program area. 

At the par-72, 6,859-yard Silverado Resort North Course, Bobo-Lloret – February’s Big West Golfer of the Month honoree – carded 4 morning birdies as a part of a two-under 70 earlier than firing a 72 within the afternoon. Entering Tuesday morning’s remaining spherical, Bobo-Lloret is 10 pictures behind general chief Kihei Akina of BYU. 

Graduate scholar Kyle Dougherty and sophomore Nolan Kuszyk share twenty fourth place with twin one-under 143s. Dougherty loved a two-under 70 within the morning and a one-over 73 within the afternoon. Kuszyk produced the identical scores with 5 whole birdies Monday.
